Note: I now oppose this bill. If we were still the individual 50 states I might support it because I wouldn't trust each of them to not set an education curriculum that's complete garbage, but I trust the leadership of each individual reason much more and I think it would be good to give the regions something more to decide for themselves.

I urge all representatives, especially those who have not been reelected, to vote against this bill.

I of course agree with this sentiment, though I'm torn as to whether this bill is better or worse than the original in that regard.

Well at least with the original bill, I was somewhat confident we were moving the ball in the right direction, if only by ten yards. This bill is basically a turnover causing us to lose 5 yards.

abstain for now but I'm liable to change my vote with a good enough argument for either side.

Quick question for my vote: on the part that the Senate amended, did this change federal or regional appropriation?

changing my vote to NAY. Reading over Sestak's argument made me change my mind. I trust the leaders of the regions to make good education programs for their citizens.

I don't like the micromanaging, nor do I think the broadbased cut to Federal Administrative Functions is helpful or effective. If I were to vote on this, I would vote solidly Nay.

With five votes against and none in favor, this bill has enough votes to fail. Representatives have 24 hours to change their votes.
