*Ginsburg and Sotomayor dissented. Breyer is a partial concurrence and partial dissent and joined both Alito's majority opinion and Ginsburg's dissent in part.

Clearly the right decision under the anti-commandeering rule. If the federal government wants to ban sports gambling nationwide, it will have to actually ban sports gambling nationwide.

This.

Worth noting that Ginsburg's opinion did not dispute parts of PASPA being unconstitutional, but rather argued that the parts of the law that were not unconstitutional should not have been struck down.

I think the only reason Sotomayor dissented is because she's a Yankees fan. She doesn't want to see players throwing Yankees games for money.
