Either way we slice we have to get away from cluttering up the statutes with error ridden bills.

I am fine with getting with the Penny based on the latest studies but there is a critical error in this text that Congress should have fixed and didn't.

If people are concerned about the redraft situation, don't be. I have the power to introduce legislation explicitly to congress, consider it as such and vote on the correct text as opposed to pursuing an override.

A vote on the redraft is hereby opened lasting 72 hours or until everyone votes, whichever occurs soonest. I think this requires 4 votes to pass (assuming this is the same as a veto override).

I think it is a simply majority since it technically upholds the veto and passes a new text in place of the old one.
