My good friends and citizens, the time has come to give the Flag of our great Republic a makeover.

I mean, look at it.  It's a pretty flag and all, but the white banner obscures the image and makes it look like a red and blue flag with stars over the top red third of it.

Have no fear, our Polish friends experience this problem all the time.  And since I'm half-Polish, I can tell you that wouldn't be the first time a Pole couldn't see a problem that was right in front of them.

(That was a bad Polish/WW2 joke, in case you didn't get it.)

But anyways, yeah.  Let's change the flag, or at least recolor the top part.

It should be put to a vote. Perhaps with afew new options plus the current flag with the usual ranked choice system.

Personally, I don't mind the current flag - although I'm open to new flag proposals if they are good.

This was the original plan after the reset, but the idea died during the infamous Great Federal Nap of 2016 (also known as the 1st Congress), and Congress ultimately ended up adopting the current design during my brief time as president. This is basically my view:

Perhaps in a way similar to NZ, but a little better, we have 2 referendums, the first for if the flag should be changed, and the second including several designs.
