Poll closing times for today's primaries:
8 PM. ET – Alabama, Mississippi, New Jersey
9 PM ET – Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota
10 PM ET – Iowa
11 PM ET – California

Is Whit Hughes still likely to win in Mississippi?  I wouldn't mind one of those business oriented Republicans in that district to bring a minor league soccer team (USL) to Jackson, Mississippi.

For those who can't access the Washington Post even through incognito, Politico also has live election returns.

Wow, Menendez only leading by 15 points in the Gloucester county early vote!!

The worst Democrat in the Senate deserves a closer than expected race here.

Joe Manchin is facing another primary today?

Any possibility Tony Cardenas could 'lose' today?

Manchin is the worst on policy, true, but Menendez is corrupt and only wasn't convicted because the Supreme Court basically made federal corruption law unenforceable.

I thought the evidence against Menedez was actually pretty weak.

Yep, this race is a tossup now. Republican supermajority.

RIDICULOUS! DO YOU NOT UNDRSTAND NEW JERSEY POLITICS?  MENENDEZ IS LOSING IN SEPTEMBER, THE NEW JERSEY DEMOCRATS WILL REPLACE HIM.  THEY HAVE IT ALL WORKED OUT!  THERE WILL BE NO SURPRISES IN NEW JERSEY! NO WAY!

BRING BACK THE TORCH!

McCormick on the map with 2 votes!

In other news, it looks like Maddox was overhyped.
And Maddox is back.

357-355

Politico is just as good as the Washington Post.

Perry Parker is kickin' it in Mississippi so far.  He's the guy I was hoping would start up the minor league soccer team Sad

If not USL, a USL-2 is also planned.  Boise is expected to be one of the first cities awarded a team.

The owner of the MLS Portland Timbers is the son of the U.S Treasury Secretary under George W Bush.  Forget their names.  Edit: Hank Paulsen was the Treasury Secretary and Merritt Paulsen is the owner of the team, or at least, the Managing Owner.

It appears that New Jersey is the slowest state so far.

According to the Politico Website, Mississippi and Alabama are reporting even slower.

Bobby Bright should have run for the Democratic nomination.

Menendez still at unimpressive 59% w/ 8,600 votes counted (will likely climb higher when more of North Jersey starts reporting). #NJSEN

When I posted that, New Jersey had 0 precincts reporting, while Alabama and Mississippi had 4 and 5 each. No longer like that.

Hrm maybe Politico is reporting the results the fastest.

Bobby Bright should have run for the Democratic nomination.

I think he is running as a Trumper.  That probably would not go over well among Democrats.

Wow if true.  That would be an odd way for him to end his political career.
