There is nothing centrist about Badger whatsoever. He’s to the left of most Democrats

Yeah, I don't know too much about Badger's in-depth views, but from what I've seen him post on here he's like the Jacob Javits of Atlas.

Badger is basically a Democrat, so I don't count him. I also don't count Santander for the same reason, but the other way around.

I'd say Not_Madigan is the most centrist R, while Torie is the most centrist Democrat.

I'm pretty sure Badger is actually a younger version of Ted Strickland.

Centrist in the not socially liberal/fiscally conservative sense (though many of these might actually qualify as center-left):
Alabama Indy
Fuzzy Bear (who might be a hair left of center given he seems decent on criminal justice issues and is anti-death penalty in addition to basically being a standard Democrat on economics)
Tim Turner/Punxsutawney Phil
PNM
TJ in Oregon (ok, he might be center-right)
BenBurch
Admiral President (he calls himself socially liberal though I don't think he actually is)

Admiral President (he calls himself socially liberal though I don't think he actually is)

I don't think I've ever expressed any socially conservative beliefs here (aside from opposing a repeal of the 2nd Amendment). Even when I was a Trumpet I was openly pro-choice and socially liberal.

You can get to the middle in different ways, and be poles apart from another centrist.

YE is right on where I am on issues.  I'm probably as "moderate" as a guy like RINO Tom, a guy who's probably poles apart from me on key issues.  (Truthfully, I'm probably more of a RINO than he is.)

I will say that I can have more productive discussions with folks of moderate temperment, regardless of issue positions, than I can with most ideologues.

Well you're definitely to the right of Ninja and RINO Tom at least culturally. You seem socially moderate/fiscally centrist to be honest, unless you're further left on stuff like immigration and drugs than I think you are.

I remember that you opposed Black Lives Matter when you were a Trumpet, and for me supporting BLM (or at minimum its goals) is a litmus test for being socially liberal.
