I would LIKE to think we are a smart country.

If that’s the case then literally not one state should vote for him if they knew what was to come.

However....


All the Bad things Trump has done so far , along with all of his bad qualities and behavior were something people knew before the 2016 election itself and he still won.




Actually, Trump has very clearly not been draining the swamp in the way he campaigned on doing in the 2016 election. With his cabinet appointment of Steve Mnuchin, and his signing of the Tax Bill, he has clearly been going away from his promise to drain the swamp, which to some people, was why they voted for him.

Johnson took votes away from Clinton in trio of states of WI, MI, PA due to the ethics
Totally untrue.  Johnson's internal polls showed the majority of Johnson voter's second choice was Trump.
As if internal polls were anything reliable.
Internal polls often produce the most extreme outliers, even among those that are not released to the public.
