Man, I thought Cornett was a better candidate than this. He isn't even leading in other polls

Good for us Dems, Lamb is easier to beat.

Cornett is a good GENERAL ELECTION candidate. He's not a great primary candidate - he's got a solid voter base in OKC but he's not remotely conservative enough.

even if he was in the top two he would get beat in the run-off.

Let's dispense with the notion that the best preforming primary candidate is always the best preforming GE candidate (and vice versa).

Richardson is a joke, this isn't news to anybody who's been following this race. And yeah pretty much what Maxwell said, Cornett would be the best candidate for the general election but isn't getting much of the vote outside of OKC. At this point, a Lamb and Stitt runoff is probably going to be the result.

the problem with Richardson is that all of the energy for a "IM A BUSINESS MAN" candidacy was taken up by Stitt, who is not only a better campaigner, and isn't a trial lawyer, but also isn't incredibly problematic for Oklahoma GOPers like Richardson is. Richardson was doing decent in early polls because Stitt's full ad blitz hadn't hit yet. I suspect Stitt now has most of Richardson's old support.

That's what I was afraid of.
