He barely won the 2012 Indiana gubernatorial by only two points, not even securing a majority of the popular vote; this was the closest gubernatorial election in Indiana in the last sixty years. Pence is even worse than Trump. I feel like some people would be wanting Trump back after a year or so of Pence.

If this is true, then the real issue people have with Trump is not his PERSONA, but his POLICIES.
