I would really like and appreciate it if the Peace party would vote on an endorsement in the Senate Races. (Specifically Lincoln's obviously )

My most sincere thanks to the Peace Party for its valuable presidential endorsement. I hope I won't disappoint!

Honestly I'm really disappointed in the turnout we had for the presidential endorsement, so I'd rather we just move along to the platform while our three candidates for House get the automatic endorsement.

As far as party organization is concerned, our top priority has to be growth, and I don't foresee better party engagement unless we have a selling point or at least something that distinguishes us from PUP.

Let's start by listing things that the party can unite around:

- A military and a foreign policy that is robust enough to keep Atlasia safe from foreign enemies and direct threats, but avoids foreign entanglements and employs diplomacy wherever possible, with force only to be used as a last resort
- No compulsory military service under any circumstances (incl. dissolving Selective Service)
- Sustainable development as an organizing principle for socioeconomic development, based on the United Nations' 17 goals
- Environmental conservation and protection of wild lands and rural communities
- Environmentally-friendly urban renewal (sometimes referred to as New Urbanism)
- A strong safety net
- Police and criminal justice reform

Great planks, Scott! I think a plank about civil rights (for trans people, immigrants, etc.) would also be useful. I ought to expand on this, but Father's Day is taking up most of my time today. Just thought I'd mention it so it would be on people's minds.

I don't have anything to add and I'll confirm that I support Scott's proposed platforms as well as Razze and Mr. Reactionary's suggestions.

What I think I'll do is draft a platform that includes everything we want.  Right now I'll open the floor for 48 hours of proposals, followed by a principle vote, followed by a draft vote.

If we were a larger party and the election wasn't so close by, I would allow for more time, but I'd like to get us going as fast as possible.

OOPS lol. I thought it was the same as the American one up to, like, the 27th amendment. Guess I should do more research. Regardless, I think people are aware of the intentions of my votes

Since we have the outline done, I might hold off on writing the platform for a little while, because I'm juggling multiple other creative projects at the moment.

I figure that at the very least, voters will know what the party stands for when casting their ballots.

I think it should be earlier than this month's, since it feels kind of awkward heading into the election weekend before adjourning the actual convention. Apparently, the next one is required to be in Frémont, so I move to nominate some locations!
