Does this allow anti-abortion protestors to forcibly block a woman from entering a clinic?

This bill is based on one already passed in the South aims to protect your rights to free speech. This bill protects the rights of protesters as it prevents localities from charging protesters to protect them from . It requires strict scrutiny whenever localities rope off free speech zones. This bill requires specificity in local noise ordinances and certain unconstitutional local sign regulations. This limits lawsuits related to using the likeness of dead celebrities as well as lawsuits from home owners associations to enforce a flag ban. This bill protects the homeless as it repeals panhandling ordinances and prohibits certain unfair police tactics against the homeless in addition to prohibiting unfair police tactics against the homeless. This bill also repeals the ban on wearing masks in public This also repeals bans on wearing masks in public and prohibits employers from certain unfair practices.

Does this allow anti-abortion pro-life protestors to forcibly block a woman from entering a clinic?
This bill does not allow the use of force by protesters, but it does allow protests to occur outside certain buildings.

I strongly support this bill and urge all colleagues to vote in favor of this for the purposes of securing freedom of expression in Lincoln.

I would argue no, as I believe physically obstructing people goes beyond mere speech activities.

After taking to someone else we feel that section 11 could be effectively trying to pass right to work in Lincoin.

It isn't necessarily a "right to work" piece of legislation as since the POWER Act passed at the federal level, unions are not required to represent non-members already. So this bill just protects union workers from being fired for joining a union. It also ensures that unions are not required to represent non union members. All the free speech protection act does is ensures that workers have the choice to join an organization fitting the text. and cannot be forced to join by their employer. Workers rights are still protected even with the bill and it removes a redundancy in our current policy. Also, section 11 protects people like Muslims from being forced to give money to Christian organizations for example, and I'm sure no progressive would want to allow that sort of thing from happening!

Vote to override. Im amazed at how anti bill of rights the governor of Lincoln has been this past 24 hours. This is to implement the law that passed 5-0 in the Senate and 8-0 in the House to prevent Lincoln from losing federal funds. Failing to pass this will blow a big hole in Lincolns budget.

A vote to override the Governor's veto has started. Assemblymen have 48 hours or until all have voted to vote. A 4/5 majority is needed to pass.
