That looks awesome, Spamage!

Any chance you changed the vanilla Vic2 map, and if so, could we see it?

Excellent work! Victoria is one of my favorite Paradox games, and if you ever release it officially I'd definitely be interested in playing. It is a shame to see Finland be occupied by the Russians though Tongue. I'd also recommend if you're interested in them, the Vic2 war analyzer, and the Vic2 economy analyzer, they provide some interesting info.

Funnily enough, Encore also inspired me to attempt to reach Scandinavia's rightful borders. Here's Europe about 11 years after the Great War (1915-1917), where 11 million died. It was coincidentally, Scandinavia, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Ottomans, and Nationalist China versus Russia, Austria-Hungary and France. Germany, my long time ally, was sadly dismantled in a separate war with France, which I took advantage of to unite Jutland.

I'm using the Historical Flavor Mod, which I think is a mod based on HPM. I quite enjoy it, though the progression of the game tends to be a bit railroaded, especially with colonization i.e Britain almost always gets Egypt and East Africa without player intervention, and France gets West Africa. Here's the link if you want to check it out.

Actions sent! I swear by the end of Encore, half my court and my whole bureaucracy is gonna be stuck in Iceland trying to lead the recovery of that island.

Made a wikibox for the War of Bavarian Succession Smiley. I dread even thinking about making one for the War of the Grand Coalition.

This is amazing.

I would love to see one for the War of the Grand Coalitions.

Thanks! Heck I'd be willing to give it a shot if I could get some help. The strength numbers for this one were a bit of a pain to do, so that was the main thing.

Would love to see one about the portuguese wars.

Now that one I can probably do tonight!

Also sorry Dkrol, I somehow left the Qing Empire off the wikibox.

Here's the Prussian-Portuguese War. I thought about including the war with Spain and the Netherlands, and the Brazilian War of Independence, but wasn't sure how to make that concise.

There are times when you're sad that you're not included in the news update, and there are times when you're happy. I'm pretty happy right now.

Let's just say you're lucky you were on quietly working on clean-up duty in Iceland.

You narrowly avoided a far worse situation which would have put you in the update. Wink

Oh no! I'm excited for the next turn to see what I might have just dodged. I've got a hunch what it might be.

I can imagine. Aside from the Rome landings, and even those weren't a complete loss, it was quite the successful operation!

Ehhhhhh...I anticipated some of it which prevented him from knocking me out of the game.  The thing about this situation is that, to paraphrase Omar Little, you come at the President, you'd best not miss.  I'm pretty happy with how everything turned out.  Spain and especially Austria were the most damaged here.

Well that's very true. You handled better than I could, after all my last Encore game nearly ended with a three way civil war and a British invasion of Norway courtesy of Dkrol Cheesy

Wow, quite the update! The loss of so much in Italy, not to mention Avignon and Jerusalem is tragic.

Kingpoleon,
It will have 0 repercussion.
So the many neutrality treaties we have seen signed are worth nothing??

That being said, it’s been fun playing. I don’t think I’ve ever lasted to round four of one of these games before, anyway, so I think I did better than usual. Good game, guys! Spamagae, it’s been fun playing with you. I don’t really feel like picking up another country, but I will watch this with interest.

Exactly!

And you laster much longer as King of Denmark kingpoleon

Did I? It didn’t feel like it. Or are you counting after I lost 75% of my kingdom to the Swedes?

Oh, that’s fun! The Swedish promised to join me in a war closer to Europe in exchange for the island of Hormuz. I think, without meaning to, I just set up the ability to wage a war throughout Europe. Let’s see - Russia, France, Scandinavia, and Austria were all supporting us in one way or another, and Prussia and the Ottomans attacked us. I’ll definitely watch this game with interest.

Eh not quite. I said I'd give military or diplomatic support in exchange for the island, while making it clear that I couldn't really promise to deploy men on the ground. I read it as an offer for supplies/advisors plus diplomatic condemnations against those who attacked you in the future, not as a promise for a general European war in your defense.

Still hate to see you and X go, and hope you'll be back in some capacity later in the game!

Welcome! Feel free to start right away with the current prompts. If you'd prefer to wait, just let me know and you can begin at the start of the next turn. Smiley

What are the current prompts?

You should be able to find them on the most recent page of the gameplay thread.

Welcome to the game!
