Or there was no way a republican would have a big support in the rural areas of the state like Trump did?

Rubio, Kasich, and Cruz(slightly better in suburbs while matching trumps margins in the rest of the state) would have won Minnesota

No. Even if they came close like Trump did the Twin Cities and their suburbs give the Democrats a pretty solid floor. At least for now.

Because of McMullin

Trump+McMullin > Hillary

McMullin does not run if Trump isnt the nominee , and much of Johnson vote goes to a generic Republican(not Trump , Cruz ) as well.

Yes, because it is revisionist history to think Trump was the best candidate, when he was one of the worst.

Yes, because it is revisionist history to think Drumpf was the best candidate, when he was one of the worst.

The dichotomy isn't so much about being a bad candidate or good candidate. It's more about being conventional versus unconventional. Trump's unconventionality was appealing in the midwest, it's actually somewhat doubtful that a more mainstream Republican could have had the same effect.

You're ignoring the fact that turnout for Clinton was historically low for a Democrat in MN. She lost almost 200K votes over Obama '12 and was well under 200K for his vote total in 2008. Look at precinct-level results in rural areas and you will see the bottom fell out for her statewide.

Sorry, it's really hard not to fill this post with personal attacks against you, but you are an incredible hack, and your posts upset me. I will leave it there.
