Hogan is looking good.  People always allude to Bob Ehrlich in 2006.  The big difference is Ehrlich was never as popular as Hogan is.  Hogan is at about 71% in the polls.  I think the highest approval rating Ehrlich ever had was 63%.  On election day 2006 his approval was in the mid to high 50's.  And in 2006 O'Malley was the very popular mayor of Baltimore and had no challenger in the primary.  None of the Democrats running have the stature of O'Malley.
