I would like to ask our chairman. Do you have any idea when we'll have our primary? Also, will we get to pick running mates?

Running mates, lol. The six people being candidates and running mates would probably be all the voters... Smiley

Btw, those of us who are of non-American origin can't run right? Smiley

I don't see why you can't run, but as your party chirman, I will tell you our best chance at victory comes with Nym90 or Christopher Michael.

OK, chief... Smiley

You don't think the swing voters would go for a foreigner? Smiley

(Sorry, will transfer to your board soon...)

You can be an active member of the AFDNC, I would appreciate that.  Or you can start a draft-Miami movement.  Up to you.  Smiley

How about both? Smiley

Hands up those who think Miami should run.

Did you see my hand? Smiley

Btw, read your suggestion on the GOP-board about polls for the primary. Would that be cross-over primaries then?

uh-oh, two people want me to run.  I have to think about this...

Just kidding.  I'm not running.  Unless you pay me.

I won't go THAT far...

Yeah, just a single poll for each party (Dem, Rep, and also other parties if need be). It'd be a bit silly having a state-by-state poll... I can just see it, "Oh no, we have no-one from North Dakota! What do we do?"

So which GOPer should we vote for then? Smiley

I say we nominate John and mass vote for him in their primary! Smiley

can we have a list of everyone running and their platforms?

Right now there are three candidates on teh Dem side: Cristopher Michael, conservative Democrat, Migrendel, socialist, and Nym90, somwhere in between (well that is all he's said when he announced his candidacy!). The GOP are a little behind so far...

Yes, behind in that we are more focused on real elections and not the Atlas fantasy.  However, if I were a Democrat, I guess I too would try to cheer myself up with some fake elections to make up for losses in the real ones Smiley Smiley Smiley

Well, if you lose here that might be the beginning of a moral boost! This could all be decided on the internet, you know! Smiley

LOL. Howard Dean's surprise victory started with a little internet forum poll. Grin

You never know... Smiley

Here's another question:
several states have no one here post on them?
What about them?
Perhaps we set a date that everyone who wishes to vote has to "register" by
then only those people vote in primaries and general elections.

Just so you know, it doesn't seem like we are gonna have state-by-state primaries.

sorry if this has already been discussed

Not in-depth. We will have one big primary poll.

Can the three [or more] candidates briefly list their stance on some relevant issues?
Yeah, that would be good.  But what do you mean by relavant issues?  Abortion isn't a big deal at a poltical forum, the ability to get along with administrators of other forums would be the big thing.
Relevant issues would be anything the candidates want to be relevant; whatever they can tell us to make us want to vote for them.

Like, how much they like us and how cool our avatar is, lol. Smiley
