I mean the most complementary thing I can say about him is that his racism seems a bit - lost in Fox News circa early 2010s. I mean obviously the diversity stuff is a bit more of recent white resentment politics, but saying Kwanza is a phony holiday? That sounds like a bad O'Reilly segment.

This is a guaranteed pickup because of Van Drew. While he's entirely a Blue Dog, he's really well known & really well liked  in most of the district and won his state senate races by wide margins.  Outside of Atlantic City NJ-02 is very conservative and very white. Van Drew's advantages is what kept a lot of more well known GOP names out of the race, which is how we got Seth "Bring back the Chinese Exclusion Act" Grossman.

I don't like having very centrist pro-gun Congressmen, but to Van Drew's credit he has saved the Jersey Democrats a ton of money and resources they can use to get actual progressives like Sherrill, Malinowski, Welle and Kim elected in their respective districts.

Obama won NJ-02 by eight f**king points in 2012. It's an open seat in a D-leaning environment and the GOP candidate is a nutjob. Democrats don't need Van Drew to win here.

It's like 1 blue dog out of 200 democrats. Almost all of the blue dogs got kicked out of office before 2016. And most of the democrats running in 2018 are liberals, even in swing seats.

What's wrong with 1 blue dog?

People are seriously misunderstanding New Jersey politics. Van Drew runs the machine that controls half the state. There is no one, from either party, who could challenge him for this seat. It was always either Congressman Van Drew or drop a nuke on NJ-02.

One blue dog in the Senate, not the house. You might have an argument against Sinema for this same reason but certainly not Van Drew. New Jersey tends not to be in love with ultra liberals anyway.

Map of the half of the state where Van Drew controls a machine?

I mean sure, Van Drew probably will do less damage than f**king Sinema (which yeah, I look forward to hating this slimy, spineless POS that makes Manchin look principled with a passion), but that doesn't change the fact that his district deserves better.

The NRCC has officially triaged this race after new racist social media garbage was found from him.

Unbelievable. Did his primary opponents do no oppo?

Also his name is SETH GROSSMAN. Doesn’t he realize he’s not considered “white” by like 90% of these people?

NJ-02 is Leans R. The GOP machine in NJ-02 has kept LoBiondo his seat for over 20 years with no issue.

NJ-02 supports these "tell it like it is" politics, and voted for Trump in 2016. These tough positions from Grossman may cost Van Drew the seat, as South Jersey voters do not support the left's push for open borders, even if Van Drew is tough on immigration. Period.

If this is a parody, well done.
