Only one person that was never president... Al Gore. He is the only loser with 260+ electoral votes. Not a single state followed that pattern, the closest state to do it was Florida.

Conservative on foreign policy issues, but Iraq turned them against the GOP in 2008 and 2012.

Sounds like someone who supports the current administration, but voted for Obama in 2008 because of the economy and Trump because of Hillary hersrlf.
