Basically, Trump is making both Republicans and Democrats want to vote. There's an enthusiasm gap of 5 points between Democrats and Republicans, less than what other polls have shown and what has occurred in other "wave" elections.

BTW, the generic ballot in this poll was 48-43, D+5, which was exactly the same as Pew's poll two months ago.
