Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced he intends to run for re-election as Governor in 2006.

There has been some speculation that another actor, Warren Beatty, may be interested in running for Governor as well, as a Democrat.

Davis wasn't an actor, he was just a terribly bland, boring politician who lacked charisma.

As much as I want to see Arnold defeated, I'm not sure Beatty is the best candidate. I don't think he has nearly as much respect as the current Gov. did when he first ran.

I hope for the sake of California that Arnold wins.  His economic plans are pure genious and obviously no Democrat that could win would be willing to admit that and keep his ideas around.

Yeah, it's pure economic genius to cut funding for a bus system, where every $1 spent on buses helps the economy by $8.

Arnold is starting to remind me of Jesse Ventura. People here weren't too fond once the novelty wore off and it turned out he was a crappy politician.

The real irony would be if Arnold gets recalled.
