Croatia 3 Denmark 1

Okay, Croatia's good, but they aren't that good...

If you think Croatia isn't impressive, Denmark isn't really good either. I don't see what's so outrageous about predicting a relative easy victory for Croatia over a side that wasn't impressive during the qualification round and couldn't even beat Australia in the actual thing Tongue.

I'm the only one so far who predicts a Danish win. Maybe the law of the series helps me win. Mock

If the law of the series continues, Brazil should be kicked out.

That's correct, but I think Russia won because of the home-field bonus/Putin rigging the match in his favor. Mexico doesn't have either of those advantages, and has slightly inferior talent to Brazil (Neymar v Giovani/Jonathan Dos Santos).

Mexico doesn't have either of those advantages, and has slightly inferior talent to Brazil (Neymar v Giovani/Jonathan Dos Santos).

Giovani Dos Santos isn't even one of the two best Mexico NT players who play in Los Angeles, much less overall.

The stars of this team imo are Juan Carlos Osorio and his alternation between tactical genius and mind-numbing tactical idiocy and then, of course, Chucky Lozano. If you want to go with an MLS player it's Vela by a mile. Ochoa is also a good goalkeeper for them (and has history doing incredible vs. Brazil at a World Cup).

I would be shocked if either of the Dos Santos brothers start (they haven't in this tournament so far and Osorio--uncharacteristically--is keeping his lineups very consistent). I doubt they'll even play.
