I enjoyed my time there, so freedom state.
Certainly one of the more interesting ones to watch in POTUS elections and
it may trend Democratic, although that is far from certain.

Since I hate cold weather, I am a fan of the state although I don't like some of the wildlife there.

Of course, the East tends to be more humid and the West dry, hence 80 degrees fahrenheit can feel as bad as 100 degrees fahrenheit in some Eastern states by comparison to Vegas.

Other than the heat, I am unsure as to why one would hate Florida. (other than, like I said the wildlife in a hot climate)

Horrible state.

For many reasons:

*I hate hot weather
*I hate Florida's politics
*This might be a stereotype but Floridians on average seem to be crazier than other Americans.
*There is an area of Florida called "The Redneck Riviera". Yeah...NO!

I think that Florida is a decent place to visit but NOT to live. I would never live in Florida.

I have visited Florida (Fort Lauderdale, Miami & South Florida in 2009 and Orlando in 2016).

Florida has gotten more expensive to live in over time, and the schools are terrible.  Real Estate is overpriced in many places in relation to what salaries for working people actually are in Florida.

Hurricanes are a big deal.  I would much prefer to live in North Florida as it is far easier to evacuate for a hurricane without bottlenecking. 

I'm pretty vested in living in FL, but I wouldn't move to FL nowadays if I were young and starting out.

Anyway, Florida is a FS for the Keys, IMO.  Also for the hilariously weird news stories that you can only get out of the Sunshine State.
