Go ahead and make your opening statement if desired. Afterward, I have the following question:

You have already been elected to the position of Speaker of the Lincoln Assembly. Do you anticipate any conflicts of interest, etc. in being both SOS and Speaker, and if so, how would you manage these conflicts? Furthermore, are you confident that you will be on Atlasia enough to give adequate time to both positions?

The position of Lincoln Regional Secretary of State requires one to "advise on legislation regarding election law, game reform and is must be held concurrently with the office of Lincoln Election Administrator." I believe I am capable of carrying out the duties of opening and closing the voting booth whenever elections are held as shown by my previous experience as election administrator in March-April and when I was appointed acting Secretary of State and opened the voting booth within the hour I asked to do so by former Governor AZ in the June elections. I also reported the results of each election within the required 24 hour timeframe. This proves that I am the right person capable of carrying out the duties of this position. Also, I plan on submitting a new constitutional amendment that will clarify the residency requirements needed to vote so we can avoid seeing further lawsuits in situations similar to the invalidation of Spark's vote upon moving to another region prior to casting his ballot.

I do believe that holding both of these offices would not take too much time and effort from me as I am pretty solidly active here. I do not see any conflicts of interest in regards to holding both offices at the same time.

I ask unanimous consent that the hearing be considered closed and the Assembly immediately vote on the nomination.

A final vote is now open. Assemblymen have 48 hours to vote or until all have voted to vote.

Since it's my own hearing...
