Shelby County, AL is the best-educated county in AL....41% having a bachelor's degree or higher. Trump won 72% there. He also won the next best-educated county (39% with a bachelor's degree or higher)...Madison...with 55%.
Good answer. Perhaps Rankin, MS is similar? Livingston, MI (adjacent to and "further out" than Oakland) is wealthy and well-educated, and voted 62-33 Trump.

Only 33% of Livingston County residents have college degrees.  It may have the highest median HH income of any county in Michigan, but that's because it's a far-out homogeneous exurb with virtually nothing but SFHs.
And about 40% of households have 3 or more vehicles.
