We have discussed the Romney - Johnson - Trump voter in another thread. Do any of you know previous 2008/2012 Obama voter that plans to vote for Trump in the 2020 election?  This is a perfect example right here in the link.

She’s part of the recent African immigrant community- her last name is Nigerian. Her voting for Trump seems more rooted in mainstream conservatism rather than the cultural nationalism and protectionism that would sway old-school African-Americans in the Rust Belt.

This is true but the linked example is in no way representative of most folks, including African immigrants. There are always people that switch their political affiliations every election and they don't make a trend. I'd like to see more research on what triggers it however.
