I definitely echo my colleague’s sentiments. Although I definitely do support a large part of this bill, I would love to see this followed by some sort of intense negotiation led by the Atlasian State Department. Some recent atrocities that have happened to Palestinian citizens are outrageous. I support us being an ally with Israel, but I also support the fact that both peoples have a right to peacefully co exist. I would love to see more debate on negotiations to figure out a way to end the bloodshed.

I definitely understand the disgusting attacks on Israel as well. If you wish to proceed to a final vote, do that, but I would love to see a negotiation follow this bill.

Just noticed, at 3(a) this references a "Department of Defense" which does not exist in Atlasia. I suppose I move to amend by striking the words "the Secretary of Defense and" from section 3(a) so as to keep the President from vetoing.

Israel is a very trusted ally of the United States, and a critical partner in the region which is constantly under attack from terrorist groups. Israel has trusted us to help, and the Israeli-Palistenian conflict should be a totally different matter entirely, as this bill does not address that matter. While I do believe Israel is a valuable ally, I oppose subsidizing their Military due to Israeli mistreatment of Civilians, and while there are attacks by terror organizations such as Hamas, as long as Israel continues to mistreat Palestinian civilians, and there is no solution regarding the two states, I cannot support subsidizing their military.

As such, my vote is a Nay!
