Jeppe for misandry and trolling, omegascarlet for pro-rape posts, lesbian bashing and for inflicting on the forum the most brain killing and moronic pile of scrap "article" that's ever been posted here, TimTurner for general spam (he's the only poster I have on ignore on AAD), Calthrania for humorlessness and inflicting texarkana's garbage on us.

Your problems with me seem to be centered around my strong objections to the ad hominem attacks directed against me (and others on here), by other users, and my desire for more civil, cordial debate. As for TexArkana, that was one map which I posted (I assume that you were the one who reported my post of the Virginia map). I gained permission to post it and did so in accordance with the discussions that had been conducted about what Tim Kaine's victory might look like in November. Also, I wasn't aware of the rule that posting such content by banned users was forbidden here.

I have had little, if any contact, with you, so I don't know why you decided to target me and to place me on your list of people that you would ban. But since you are of this opinion, I will refrain from interacting with you from this point forward, and will place you on my ignore list to avoid further confrontation.

DavidB views have changed substantially since 2015 but his change was gradual on the issues he changed on , and once he started to change on the issues it was pretty obvious he was going to move to the left on economic issues but to the right on cultural ones. The idea he is fake is a preposterous accusation and not based on any facts.

Rather than aggressive and petty, I think the thread itself is informative, inasmuch as it gives us insight into what people are thinking. I agree that some of the comments in this thread do not tend to promote constructive engagement with each other over ideas.

I agree 100% with the rest of your comment (unless there's really, really something that I'm missing). In particular, I would not ban Beet or Calthrina950; I think Calthrina950 in particular is one of the most thoughtful posters on here, which is particularly impressive given his age.
