While it isn't germane to add to this bill, it might be fun to get some public input and have a bill on other regional symbols. Our regional animal would obviously be the golden retriever, but we could also do bird, reptile, etc. Right now we only have a flower (Cherokee rose).

The majority of Delegates have expressed that they are favorable with "Dixie" as the song of the South (see what I did there?) and there has been no debate in several days. I urge the Chamber to move to a final vote so we can move on to other matters.
