Do y'all think Minnick would have held on to this district? I would say yes. Also say he did win in 2010 and retired in 2014 where Labrador finally picked up the seat but then still vacated it for the governor's race in 2018 and lost the primary there. Could a strong candidate like Balukoff or Paulette Jordan win the open seat? I would say tilt yes.

I guess it's the closest you can get to a "gerrymander" in Idaho. I think Minnick would've held on, and a Democrat would have a good chance of winning.

Here's a very similar one I created. Green is pvi of R+9 and white R+29. Road connectivity obviously not taken into consideration.

Here's a "fair" Idaho map, with the yellow PVI at R+12.8 and the white at R+26.6.
