Trump won the white vote in every county of Mississippi. In Louisiana, unlike Mississippi, Clinton won the white vote in New Orleans. Why are MS whites so Republican, even in Jackson?

Clinton won the white vote in very few counties in the South in general, including none in most of the states that border Mississippi.

Hinds county is Democratic now not because it's white are very liberal (they never were), but, because of white flight to suburbs, It's about 70% Black. New Orleans is "only" 60% Black, but is (unlike Jackson) a very big metropolis since mid-19th century, and has completely different history, traditions (Catholic church played big role here) and culture. So, it's whites are very different from Jackson's..

What are some examples of counties where she won it?

2016 & 2012

Specifically, though:

1 ) Orleans, LA
2 ) Davidson, TN
3 ) Dekalb, GA
4 ) Clarke, GA
5 ) Buncombe, NC
6 ) Orange, NC
7 ) Durham, NC

8 ) Travis, TX

15 ) Richmond, VA

The map shown in Atlas by regente (I think) had Trump winning Davidson, TN whites by 0.3 due to slight formula tweaks.  Either way, it was virtually even and Clinton won 7-8 counties' white votes in the South (excluding VA and FL).

Having lived in both AL and MS college environments, I can safely say that a vocal minority, but a minority nonetheless, of students are liberal. Trump may have lost 30-35% of white college students in MS but no more than that (and that is including third party voters as well as Clinton voters). While millenials as a whole skew liberal, there are going to be exceptions, particularly in states where liberalism as a whole is uncommon, and where colleges are heavily Greek dominant.

Liberal whites in the deep south tend to be the "resistance". They are typically well educated and have lived much of their lives elsewhere. Not all liberals "move out" when they can. Many of them stay to try and fight the dominant culture. It's a losing battle but commendable nonetheless.

Pretty obvious.  Some college town people, some government employees here and there, Millennials (specifically in urban areas), your run-of-the-mill urban White liberals and a few Yellow Dogs who have somehow managed to avoid dying yet.
That’s pretty much the same case in KY, TN, AL, AR, LA, and OK

Yeah, but there are way more white Democrats in all of those states you just mentioned than in Mississippi.

the NE used to have more whites voting democrat than the rest of the state. Obama prob won something like 18% rather than 10%. Although Clinton got the usual 10%.

Also true. However, the reason for this is really disproportionate (compared to MS) Democratic support from the government employee demographic and white demographics comparable to it on terms of IQ and socioeconomic status. Mississippi also has fewer urban areas in general than the states I mentioned.

If you take the 4 most NE counties (Tishomingo, Prentiss, Alcorn & Tippah), Obama won 15% in 2012 (as opposed to 11% statewide); expand that to include Union, Pontotoc, Lee & Itawamba and he won 12% of whites.

White Democrats are surprisingly numerous in Orange County, CA. Why isn't the same true in urban Mississippi counties?

Very different political cultures. Orange County is part of Greater LA so it has a lot of professional class whites (esp in places like Irvine), people who moved out from LA County, transplants from other liberal areas, lots of union members, and so on.
