This race is only going to be competative if 75% of all undecideds go to Lupe, and something tells me thats not the case.

Abbott up 13 - Safe R
Lamb up 13 - Toss Up

I mean, both of them are clearly going to win, but Abbott is going up against a significantly worse candidate.

I'm quite surprised this hasn't been entered in yet, considering it's a good poll for Rs.

Titanium R. Maybe Andrew White could have made this competitive. Valdez is basically a joke candidate.

If you can't beat a joke candidate then you can't make the general competitive.

So using that logic, Mike Castle couldn't have won DE-SEN 2010?

Maybe. Certainly losing to a nutjob like O' Donnell showed that Castle was rusty and lacked the will to mount a hard-charging campaign.

Abbott isn't going to win because Valdez is a weak opponent, he's going to win because he has a good approval rating in a Republican state.

Gallant Greg and Terrific Ted will cruise to victory.  Nothing to see here.
