I was going to post on the Sign-Up Thread, but I do think it's best to do it separatedly.

As many of you knew, I was in the process of crafting the update to start The Great Experiment once again in 1793, only for RL problems to strike again rather harshly (as they've intermittently done for the past few months) and leave me unable - at least emotionally - to handle some online responsibilities such as the game.

I decided to try and focus on other initiatives which are less stressful (the Spanish Election Series), but much as I've tried I've hit a wall when it comes to the re-start of this. After a couple of weeks I do feel much better and I've managed to come to terms with my temporary inability to host a complex game, which I believe will pass at some time. When that happens I'd very much want to retake this as the game model lends itself to re-starting when needed, either on a different era or close to the last played year. But until that, I'd rather be responsible with the present situation.

Once again, my apologies.
