Likely D. I expect suburbs to swing hard against Republicans.

One prominent Democratic strategist in Florida believes that without Comey’s late intervention, Hillary would have narrowly won Pinellas.

I’m going with tilt-to-lean D for now.

Lean D. In the last few election cycles it has been a bit more Dem than FL as a whole.

Drifting D, like most of suburban America. "Saint Pete" isn't even the majority of the county in population.

It will probably go Democratic, but just barely, and that depends a bit on the candidate.

Pinellas, Orange, and Broward Counties were once the bedrock of FL Republicans.  Orange and Broward are solid Democratic and Pinellas is moving that way.  Sarasota and Seminole Counties are next.
