Opinion: People who don't answer/hang up immediately when called by a Pollster

If the caller ID would identify them as a pollster I would answer, but it seems they never do.  And I actually have a landline.

Yeah for 99% of the population it's no different to ignoring sales calls, or other nuisance calls that take up your time

I can't blame those that don't answer, there are lots of reasons to not answer. But to straight up hang-up...I have only one finger for such a deed.

I don't have a problem with these people and it depends on the circumstance when the call comes.

But I also believe that as a responsible democratic person, you should answer a poll 1 or 2 times a year if you have some time.

Are Democrats more likely to answer these calls than Republicans?
I don't think the polls are that much less accurate because of this.

Not in my experiences, and they tend be the bigger a&*holes when they do....unless I'm working for CNN, but that's only because the Trump cult and the whole "fake news" thing.
