That's very sad. I sure hope he can finish his term and get cured without any complications.

Hopefully he comes out of all this with a clean(er) bill of health and will stay in remission.

Chemo can be extremely draining, physically and mentally (negative effects on cognitive ability are documented). Does Maryland have any procedure where Hogan could take a temporary leave of absence for a few months without actually resigning?

Hoping for the best for him.

But where's Wulfric's ratings change for the 2018 election?

I refuse to speculate that far in advance.

One hopes... But this diagnosis is quite dire. Really sad.

His odds are 70% he will be alive in 5 years. Chemo apparently is very effective.

Just awful, non-Hodgkin’s is just a terrible thing to go through. I hope he and his family have access to good treatment. They will be in my prayers.

Apparently, he's stated that they revised his diagnosis to a Stage 3 rather than a Stage 4, which is a very good thing.  He will, apparently, be able to work and take treatments.

I wish him well, and I wish him a full recovery.  I'm not saying he (or anyone else) deserves this, but I do hope that his unfortunate experience will enable him to gain empathy for folks in his situation that don't have the kind of resources he has to deal with them.  I'm saying this because I have family with serious medical issues and no means to pay for needed treatment.  Perhaps Gov. Hogan can be a force in the GOP to persuade GOP Governors to accept the Federal money and expand Medicaid.  God Bless him and heal him.
