Hopefully Orman supporters defect to Kelly to stop Kobach.

I wouldn't bet on it. You surely remember Maine governor elections of 2014, when enough centrist went for Cutler, and governorship went to LePage (in 2010 it was Democratic candidate, who must drop, IMHO). So, liberals can't win in Maine (and even less - in Kansas) without moderate's help. And for this to happen Democratic candidate must be at least somewhat moderate him(her)/self. Otherwise we will see LePage's and Kobach'es winning with plurality.

Dems has KS 2 and can very well spill over to the Gov mansion. Gubernatorial races don't always vote the way they do in prez election. Although, it will be an upset if Kelly wins, she isn't out of the race being down by1

She isn't. But she could be ahead if liberals would make an alliance with moderates against Kobach..
