Seems like New Jerseyites are not exactly enamoured with the prospect of either Corzine or Forrester being governor

We're not, but Corzine is the much lesser of the two evils.

No, he's just the more democrat.  Which, in the NJ structure, makes him the mor eentrenched.

Wow. Just...wow.

(Psssssst. Before McGreevey, the NJ GOP dominated state politics in the Garden State. I guess we can keep that as our little secret, pal.)

I've been seeing more Forrester ads here.  I don't know how he is doing it or if he can keep it up.

I am just pointing out New Jersey's current political climate, and the fact that because of this Corzine has the natural advantage, alright pal.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. The Democrats dominated Georgia on the state level until a few years ago, about the time McGreevey was elected actually.

And you think McGreevey and Co. will have a lasting, positive effect on the NJ Dems? Corzine is starting to struggle, BRTD. Forrester has the momentum. Rudy is coming down for him, McCain will be stopping in...then we have Corzine who brought in Clinton and, well, did nothing for him.

That's not really related to my point.

Until I see a single poll showing Forrester ahead, I'm calling this one for Corzine. If I had to make a prediction: Corzine - 53 Forrester - 46

Granted, but a few things.  While it is a state race, Forrester may suffer a bit from people who will refuse to vote Republican due to disliking Bush (as his popularity drops).  Another point is in the region as a whole the state changed first on Presidential levels and then changed on the local levels (for example look at the shift on Long Island, Pres level shift started in the early 90's, but didn't start changing that much on the local level till 5 years ago.  Parts of the Philly burbs are showing similar changes, first began a change on the Pres level, and while in some cases still GOP have shifted more to the Dems locally.  Things like this might not mean a ton of points, but can be the difference between 3-5% each way

I hate to say it Forrester is looking better and more distant from Bush.  Still supporting Corzine though.

Everytime Bush is mentioned in one of Corzine's ads, Forrester isn't hurt. In fact, his numbers have gone up. Corzine is failing.
