Here's another batch of pretty awful choices for the most part. Clearly Rabin.

Begin easily was the best: Liberalized the Israeli Economy and helped them move away from Socialism and the Camp David Accords

Nah, pretty easy actually.

Netanyahu, I suppose, followed by Begin and Shamir.

Rabin.

Also, you've included Peres twice.

1. Rabin. By a miiiile. He introduced a wonderful healthcare system, broke up Labour's old and corrupt political machine, and let's not even talk about the peace with Jordan and his bravery seeking peace with the Palestinians. Yes, he might've failed to do so while he was alive, with a vicious incitement campaign lead by the right (yes- the right, not just the far-right) causing his murder, and the Oslo Accords certainly had their problems, but the alternative sure as hell wasn't better. One of the best.

2. Begin. I don't agree with much of what he's done, but no one could argue he was a bad man, his championing of Mizrahi Jews in face of Mapai racism was great (even if politically-motivated) and the peace with Egypt is huge.

3. Peres. A pretty dysfunctional Prime Minister and could never win much, but a good man.

This is where it gets really gross:
4. Barak. I guess. Pretty useless.
5. Sharon. Wasn't good overall, and handled the Hitnatkut badly, but at least he tried to do something and got us out of Gaza.
6. Shamir. Bleh.

7. Olmert. Pretty average, but very corrupt and the 2006 War in Lebanon wasn't well-handled.

8. Netanyahu. It cannot be understated what a disaster he is. Completely destroyed the unity of the Israeli people, and possibly the Jewish people, which is a crime of the highest order. Extremely corrupt, doesn't flinch from wild incitements and blatant lies against opponents and entire populations, leading the charge for authoritarian laws for his own personal gain, incites against the media and the judiciary to turn the eyes away from his own failure, obsessed with taking over the media and filling it with bootlickers, in bed with Kahanist nazis, undermined our relationship with half the United States, promotes the worst scum... There's just too much.

Friendly reminder that Menachem Begin was a terrorist.

Friendly reminder that you are twisting history.

Menachem Begin, like Nelson Mandela, traded in his past life of paramilitary activities  for a legacy based in peacemaking.

I didn't realize that we forgave mass murdering terrorists if they traded their life of terrorism for for a legacy of peacemaking. I mean, we would never have seen Bin Laden accepted as PM of Saudi Arabia, would we?

Rabin's the best out of that list.

Worst: the current one easily.

As false an equivalency as comparing George Bush to Hitler, but OK. It's not like I'm expecting people here to argue in good faith on this issue Tongue
