Section 2 bans polygraphs for federal hirees as well as drug tests and felony reporting except for dangerous or special job categories.

Sections 3 a - b prohibit IRS employees from making unfair political decisions

Section 3c prohibits federal employees from sharing your passport photo with the public except in certain emergencies or with consent.

Section 4 helps sure up Federal pension liabilities, merges Congress and railroad workers into the Federal pension, and eliminates the Railroad Retirement Board.

Section 5 repeals the Hatch Act so federal employees can express political opinions in public.

On the extremely underfunded federal pensions and the $7 trillion potential shortfall: https://amp.businessinsider.com/us-government-7-trillion-pension-shortfall-2016-4

58 up to 62
3 years to 5 years
Appears the rate was raised to 3.1% IRL since I put it on my to do list a few yrs ago so it isnt an actual adjustment.

A lot of good items here, like further elimination of the polygraph and the elimination of one of the pension boards (RRB), which I am also a fan of consolidating such when practical.

While not entirely knowledgeable of the numbers regarding the contribution amount (like how much this changes or reduces the unfunded amount), we do need to take steps to address this problem and hopefully this bill will at least make a dent in the problem.

A final vote is now open on the following bill for 72 hours or 8 hrs after this has enough votes to pass or fail, whichever occurs soonest.
