Looks like a 241-194 D House and a 50-50 R Senate IIRC. Not a bad night at all.

Right on the House, but Senate is 52 R - 48 D (no net change) pending any recounts and assuming Rs win the MS runoff.

52 R - 48 D would be R+1, not no net change

And with that, Election Night 2018 is over.

And Election Night 2018 is about to begin.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this, as a rough sort of preview of what Election night 2018 may (or may not) be like. Although this fictional election night will not be an entirely accurate preview in a number of respects, and no doubt there will be some surprises on the real election night, if you have read this far then you have "lived through" one Election night 2018, and hopefully the fictional experience will leave you better equipped to evaluate, enjoy, and appreciate the real thing.

After the real Election 2018 is finished, I will evaluate the results and figure out whether and in what form it makes the most sense to continue this timeline.

All things considered, this wasn't a terrible prediction. You were only 2 races off in the senate.

Yeah, there were a few things I would have changed if I had been redoing it from the start just before election day, but overall it seems to have turned out reasonably close-ish to what really happened.

Anyway, what I am thinking of at the moment is that I may continue this, but I would really like to get more of an idea about what is going to happen with Mueller before doing so. I am just not sure how long to wait. Something significant should happen sooner or later, one way or the other.

Also, if I continue this, I may "re-set" what happened to be the actual 2018 results, as opposed to these fictional ones. That will not make much of a difference, but will make things simpler to do on my part and also easier to follow.
