(Basically they didn't even bother trying to act like the Reagan Administration. They made Jimmy Carter look like a hawk by comparison as their solution to the problems in Central America was to back a Soviet proposal for an arms embargo to the region. Our school was Honduras and after we failed to stop the Yankee goofiness, I showed up at the Trusteeship Council asking for our orders since the UN had deemed the countries of Central America weren't sovereign nations!)
