No on the former, on the fence on the latter.

I support both, but I am much more interested in seeing a unified Ireland.

No on the former. The latter I'm more favourable towards but still no.

Also, why do the absolute worst parties lead their respecitve groups (the far right DUP for unionists, the Sinn Fein terrorists for nationalists)

In regards to Ireland, I want whatever ends up with less people dead, and a solution that allows everyone to move forward beyond the horrid status quo (corruption, poverty, sectarianism, lack of infrastructure, terrible and absent governance). I.e. a focus on flegs from meatheads on both sides is very much the wrong avenue to head down (sorry Americans: your great granddaddy coming from Ireland does not grant you authority).

I think ultimately the island should be unified, but it will clearly be a process that will take time (for one thing, absorbing the province will have a huge effect on the Republic, especially given its status as a money sink). The ulster Protestant community, as annoying as their representatives are, will need to have their concerns respected - the idea of Catholics "out breeding" the prods and then calling a referendum is not a particularly useful or desirable outcome.

As for Scottish independence, it strikes me a spectacularly pointless journey (akin to brexit, in fact) that will risk actual tangible things for the sake of a few measly symbols.

Solidly unionist. Neither movement has support from a majority of their respective populations.

Option C, all countries involved should be subsumed into a European federation.

I support a Scottish vote under certain parameters but its already been done. Next one should be in 25 years minimum, although Brexit is definitely a compelling argument for a new one.

Irish unification is too complex for a mere referendum. It would potentially jeopardise peace and I think its better UK and Ireland take the lead.

I oppose Scottish independence and support Irish unification--into the UK and a federal Europe.

Meh/Yes

I was previously strongly against Scottish independence, but after Brexit I think it's justifiable. A unified Ireland is a good long-term goal that will definitely take time and patience.

Yes / Yes

I have supported Scottish and Catalan independence, i'm not in favour though of Flemish independence but that's because of two reasons: 1. it's associated with the far-right here 2. Belgium is already very small, and Flanders is bigger than Wallonia or the biggest party, while in the case of Catalonia and Scotland you have cross-party wing indepedence support, and it's like David vs Goliath. And in the case of Catalonia, i hate how Spain has dealt with Catalan independence seekers, so i've started to have lots but lots of sympathy for Catalans while i hate the Spanish government. It's already sick that i approve PdeCat more than PSOE in Spain.

In North-Ireland, i would vote Sinn Fein. In Scotland i would vote for Labour / SNP. In case Labour dumps Corbyn, i would prefer SNP.
