Scott Walker is now accusing Tony Evers of plagiarism: https://madison.com/wsj/news/local/govt-and-politics/scott-walker-hits-tony-evers-over-plagiarized-material-in-budget/article_c2d4d2ea-b65a-563e-960b-977a9342634a.html

The man is doing everything he can to win. He doesn't know how to campaign on his own merits because he doesn't have any.

I see he's shed his muhmoderate snake skin and gone straight for dumpster fire politics. This is a clear departure from his previous sleezy campaign tactics that he used when he felt comfortable. I doubt this will help, but it seems to me like a panic move.

Should note that the author of the work that DPI used without citation is just happy that is work was used.

Ok. So, apparently Trump will be rallying with Vukmir, but Walker may not be present because Trump's aides thinks he should avoid Walker due to his low reelection prospects.

AND Obama is coming to Milwaukee on Oct. 26. Can't wait to see him!

Prediction: if Walker's not there and loses, Trump will say Walker lost because he didn't campaign with Trump.

Wait, he doesn't want to campaign with Walker because he thinks he's gonna lose... But he still campaigns with Vukmir? Huh

I mean I know he's not very bright but COME ON.

Baldwin will probably win by over 20 points at this rate. I am thinking that will be more than enough to push Bryce, Engebretson, and Liegeois over the top. Wisconsin will probably have a 6-2 Democratic delegation after this years elections.

What about Dan Kohl in WI-06? I'd say he's far more likely to win then Engebretson or Liegeois.

They'll be lucky to get 4-4. This isn't '06 anymore.

Unless one is Obama or Dubya or JFK, debates don't sway much.

I actually agree that it doesn't make much of a difference who "wins" debates, but I think a candidate's attitude during a debate says a lot more (about what position they think that they're in.)

Wisconsin is elastic, but a 20 point win is borderline impossible.
In 2008, Obama had everything on his side, and he only won by 14.

I guess there really are lots of Walker-Baldwin voters afrer all. This article explains why the governor's race between Walker and Evers is so close compared to the U.S. Senate race between Baldwin and Vukmir: https://madison.com/wsj/news/local/govt-and-politics/elections/with-wisconsin-voters-split-on-governor-tammy-baldwin-enjoys-commanding/article_dbd4b577-1e00-5f47-947f-f7fef3692e17.html?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=wisconsin%20state%20journal

Come on, Wisconsin! PLEASE get rid of Walker.

Sigh. Just like I've said. I'm still so upset that Vinehout didn't win; We'd be seeing a very different race. But no use crying over spilt milk.

Vinehout ran an awful campaign, barely raised more than a few thousand dollars.

Not everything is about fundraising, as this race is showing. But I'm getting pretty used to people here not being willing to acknowledge to importance of rural areas and their preferences.
