Serious own-goal if this holds in the primary. Tony Evers has a 100% chance of winning the general if he makes it. The others lack that level of certainty.

It seems like whenever Democrats nominate a woman, it’s an own-goal, but it’s not the case when Dems nominate flawed male candidates like Scott Wallace.

In some cases, there is an objectively strongest candidate in the Democratic field. In Wisconsin, it happened to be Tony Evers. In Minnesota, it is Tim Walz. It is not always going to be a male candidate who is the strongest, but it is the case in both MN-Gov and WI-Gov.

Rule one of conventions in 2018 - they are an extreme unrepresentative sample of the ideology of the electorate. Remember, Romney lost his convention, but will probably win the primary by 70%.
Exactly. Mostly radicals and ideologues show up at conventions. Not representative of the primary electorate at all.
Does someone have to be specifically invited to show up at a convention?

Add up Dane County and all the Counties Screnock won in the recent state Supreme Court Race while excluding all the other Dallet Counties, and Dallet still wins.

Why is it so hard for people to realize that Tony Evers is the best candidate Democrats have in this race?

Wisconsin in general tends to have very high turnout.

Over 6,000 people voted for Nehlen in WI-01. That's over 6,000 too many--frightening.

Wisconsin is an open primary state. What if some of those 6,000 people were Democrats who wanted to get an easy to beat opponent in the general?

Baldwin will probably win by over 20 points at this rate. I am thinking that will be more than enough to push Bryce, Engebretson, and Liegeois over the top. Wisconsin will probably have a 6-2 Democratic delegation after this years elections.

If Lisa Neubauer wins by less than 12 points or loses, then its a disappointment.

Wisconsin will be a Safe D state again once trends in Dane and Milwaukee Counties continue to increase the margin for Democrats there, and when trends in the WOW Counties continue to decrease the margin for Republican there.

Polls close at 9:00 EST in Wisconsin.

Still a little more than an hour to go.

Probably Decision Desk:

Lisa Neubauer (Nonpartisan)     58.4%   3,908
Brian Hagedorn (Nonpartisan)     41.6%   2,784

I meant where in the state, not where the source.

Neubauer winning Winnebago so far 22% in.

Winnebago is rather consistently slightly to the right of the state.

We have no idea where in each of these Counties the voters are coming from.
