Fhtagn is more right-wing than people think tbh. If she runs a Ben Shapiro ''haha troll the libz'' campaign and also receives donor backing she might win tbh.

Why not run them both on the same ticket? Either order works for me.

Can't believe Fuzzy Bear/fhtagn is in last place. In the context of a Republican primary, fhtagn has several advantages, including her strong defense of the new SCOTUS justice.

As was mentioned in this thread, a Native American woman who voted for Jill Stein has no chance in a Republican primary against an Evangelical white man who is very socially conservative.

I don't know much about Fuzzy Bear. I do know that he once posted something along the lines of "I was considering voting for Gillum until I saw (hateful lefty post)" so I doubt he'd win the GOP primary given the fact that his views entail being willing to vote for Gillum.

fhtagn gets my vote because she has demonstrated clear leadership skills and resilience in the face of an echo chamber*

*before you get mad at me I'm not necessarily referring to Atlas**

**though I can tell you that there's a 99% chance I'm talking about Atlas

The GOP special interests would side with fhtagn. I'd also argue voting for Jill Stein is less damaging than voting for Barack Obama and her being a minority gay liberal turned conservative could arguably be a plus. But then again, Fuzzy Bear's policy positions would be popular enough with the basin and fhtagn's secularism would be a serious problem, plus she's more pro-immigrant. Yet the Republican establishment would do everything in its power to stop a pro-single payer pro-union anti-money in politics candidate, and fhtagn wouldn't run an incompetent campaign if I had to guess.

I guess fhtagn would win.

All that matters to the GOP base is that he voted for Trump. Fhtgan didn’t.

People underestimate Fhtagn here. She staunchly supported both Kavanaugh and Bolsonaro. As a woman of colour who is very politically incorrect and presumably opposes affirmative action she would greatly trigger the libz. She'd be an instant hit if she becomes pro-life and runs an anti-immigration campaign. Fuzzy Bear is a little too leftist for the GOP electorate imo. The GOP electorate probably doesn't want the Ryan budget, but I think Fuzzy Bear stretches it. The Tea Party people would scream socialism and that still would have an impact in the GOP primaries. Let's not forget that even the average Trump primary voter had an median household income of something like $70k, the forgotten men and women aren't exactly the same as the GOP primary electorate (or any primary electorate for that matter).

I'd vote for Fuzzy, mostly because fhtagn (who I do personally like) has lately turned to this mentality which I find really distasteful, and supporting Bolsonaro like mvd10 said she did is repugnant (sorry, the dude is a fascist, sexist POS who hates homosexuals to a murderous level).

Worth noting that I don't actually support Bolsonaro. That was mostly discord trolling Tongue

Also, I just happen to think this image is hilarious, and kept going with it because why not:

But that's the point. Your entire campaign would be discord trolling, and you'd win bigly!

Sorry for spreading fake news btw Tongue.

A very interesting and somewhat difficult choice for me to make here.

Despite some snarky comments I've made about him in the past, I actually think Fuzzy Bear's a fairly reasonable (and insightful) poster when he's not talking about religion, teh gayz, or indulging in his tedious Boomer-style right-wing political correctness hoopla.  If I were to meet Fuzzy Bear in person, I would stand clear of any discussion about any of those things, knowing that all it would cause is strife between us.  He might not be an outright theocrat like ExtremeConservative is, but he still adheres to a set of fundamentalist Christian views that I have long opposed and felt very strongly about.

With fhtagn, I wouldn't have to worry about a resurrection or emboldening of divisive culture wars, but I'm also not a fan of the type of secular hyper-individualism that she would appear to embrace, and I'm obviously much more in line with Fuzzy on economic issues.  I also think Fuzzy would be wise enough not to let his own religious/moral crusades overshadow a robust economic agenda.

Both are rather dovish, so foreign policy wouldn't be much of a factor here.

All things considered, I think I would prefer Fuzzy here.  Ideally he'd be working with a Congress that's more in line with the rest of the country on LGBT equality and fair treatment of immigrants and refugees.

I align more with Fuzzy Bear but I like fhtagn more since I've never really spoken to Fuzzy Bear on a personal level.

On second thought, switch my vote to fhtagn.  FB's preachy shtick has gotten real f#cking annoying lately.

Christ, imagine having to live under the same roof as that man.

Fuzzy Bear is less odious, both politically and personally.

Politically? Aren't you trans?
He supports universal Healthcare and such, and actually believes rape victims when the evidence is clear. And his being better personally is a big part of it.

Fuzzy Bear is less odious, both politically and personally.

Dissing on my homegirl? Explain brah
Politically I think it's obvious enough. Personally, Fuzzybear doesn't treat people he doesn't like like literal garbage.

Pretty much this. I think fuzzy bear would follow through with liberal economic policies and keep absolute POS off the Supreme Court like Kavanagh. I wouldn't trust f t g h n to follow through with actually implementing any liberal policies she might actually support, when by fighting them instead she can achieve her real be-all-and-end-all goal "2 own th libz!!1"

Since this thread started, I've taken on a green avatar, although I am still a registered Republican with no intentions on changing that.

I'd certainly support the winner of this primary in all likelihood.

I certainly think that my chances would be better in states with no party registration or in states with open primaries.  I know that in a closes primary state outside the Northeast, I'd have difficulty winning.  The name of the game in a GOP primary in most of America is still to show that you are the REAL conservative, and while I'm a social conservative, I'm not a "movement conservative" and I'm more dovish than many religious conservatives.

I'm realistic about where I'm at, politically.
