That sample is rather R friendly, but who knows what the electorate is this year.

LMAO. If DeSantis can’t even get a tie in this extremely generous to Republicans sample, it says a lot about him.

I would be SHOCKED if it was 7% more republican than it was in 2016. It should be about the same or at most, the Republicans might turn out 2-3% better.

The fact that Gillum is still ahead even with this type of electorate just shows you how favored he is. I guess even the Florida Democratic Party meets the broken clock standard, lol.

Look at the crosstabs, DeSantis is winning 19% of black voters in this poll and leading with millennials.

Knowing Atlas and how it thinks of geography, Florida will probably cease to be considered a Southern state if it votes for a Black Democrat statewide, LOL.  Until it votes for a White Republican, of course, then it's back to being Southern.

Trashiest state in the country, full of swampy rednecks and old racists or a booming, multi-metropolis extension of the Northeast, full of tourist attractions galore.  Switches by the cycle. Tongue

What a depressing name for a polling firm, by the way.

True, then again, look at how negatively a lot of Republican view Virginia now. Tongue

Anyway, if DeSantis can't lead in a poll like this, he's definitely in a lot of trouble.

Gillum being ahead by 5 is consistent with him being at +1 in some polls and +9 in others.
