Knowing Atlas and how it thinks of geography, Florida will probably cease to be considered a Southern state if it votes for a Black Democrat statewide, LOL. Until it votes for a White Republican, of course, then it's back to being Southern.
Trashiest state in the country, full of swampy rednecks and old racists or a booming, multi-metropolis extension of the Northeast, full of tourist attractions galore. Switches by the cycle. 
True, then again, look at how negatively a lot of Republican view Virginia now.
Anyway, if DeSantis can't lead in a poll like this, he's definitely in a lot of trouble.
