Why are people still pretending this is a competitive race?

The surprise Red Wave is going to blow this race wide open once it reaches shore.

Why are people still pretending this is a competitive race?

If Democrats are allowed to pretend Heitkamp is still in the game when down double digits in the polls, Republicans can do the same with Schuette

Haha, touche. And same with David Garcia actually. At least I'm consistent in thinking they're all DOA. Smiley

Muh polls were wrong in 2016, just like muh ND polls were wrong in 2012. Smiley

Now that’s more like it. The fact that a poll showed Whitmer +8 prompted the Detroit News to publish this piece of garbage:

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/opinion/columnists/bankole-thompson/2018/10/01/bankole-why-schuette-can-win-governorship/1443014002/

So now that screaming “GRANHOLM!!!” officially isn’t working, I wonder what’s next in Schuette’s flip chart.

Michigan is a notoriously difficult state to poll, and MI polls were wrong in 2016, too. Tilt R still.

Donald Trump won 10,000 more votes in an election against an equally unpopular competitor where 80,000 people left the Presidential slot blank.
