The republicans dont want to talk about mark warner. both sides are saying that they have improved the economy of the state. but does a defeat to kaine hinder warners chances of winning in 2008?

A little, but not much.  Warners popularity will remain the same.  That being said, Warners running for VP, the top spot would just be an added bonus.

What I mean is, he knows that he probably wont land the top slot because of his lack of experience.  However, he has some nice regional appeal and he has  strong record.  He's on everyones short list as a potential VP in 2008.

I have never thought about this scenario as i thought if he fialed to win the nomination he would run for the senate in 2008? Could this help hillary in anyway particularly in Ohio?

It might alittle bit, but a Kaine win will propel Warner to be even more popular, because Kaine is just running on Warners coatails. I think this is the reason why Warner only got involved recently in the campaign, becuase if Kaine lost, he could distance himself from him.
