I had thought advertising was already everywhere, but I learned this evening that it could actually get worse.

While I was pumping gas, an annoying State Farm commercial began playing on the gas pump's screen.  In the past I've been known to cut ties with businesses that tick me off, so that's pretty much the last time I ever buy gas from BP.

What happens with State Farm remains to be seen.

I have a sense of foreboding about this ‘cane coming in. I’m a bit south of the impact but my family in Vero are in for it. Hope everything’s good for you Fuzzy, IIRC that’s relatively close to your neck of the woods.

I got gas but no water yet. My parents my ride it on in my apartments with me because I’m a mile inland and they’re on the river.

Dorian causes mild wind and a lot of rain, but nothing major. At one point our dock was underwater but it held itself together just fine, and the boat is on a trailer. We got incredibly lucky. The Bahamas obviously has been devastated. I’ve never known a Bahamian that I didn’t like, fantastic people all around. Keep them in your thoughts/prayers Sad
