"Insecure". Wow, you're never satisfied are you?

Wouldn't this be a good thing for him? Doesn't this show he's got major fundraising creds? Not to mention stable popularity?

How exactly does this make him "insecure"?

Compare his fundraising efforts to that of Obama or Bush 2 at this point in their first terms. Or the fact that he filed for reelection the day he was inaugurated, or how he attacks the potential Democratic primary field despite the fact that we haven't even had the midterm elections yet.

Sorry but he is insecure.

But if he had fundraised like them you would say he was behind in his bid.

The reality is that raising large amounts of money can't be spun as a bad thing for him. He already has raised almost a third of what he raised during 2016 and we aren't even through the midterms yet.

Building up a war chest is what politicians do, increasingly further and further away from reelection. Something tells me that if a Democrat were doing this, it would be "an amazing $100 million" war chest to these red avatars.

Whatever happened to "not needing" to raise any money because he's a self-funding (alleged) billionaire?

In the last election, he pledged to only give his campaign $100 million, but ended up welching on even himself by only donating two thirds of that by the end.  Factoring in the millions he's grifted from the public dime for his family businesses since taking office, he's conned his way into a tidy profit.

If Liz Warren had this kind of money right now, others would be doing cartwheels.

That's not an endorsement of Trump 2020, but it is a realistic assessment of others' real feelings.
